Sound the battle cry

The song below kept repeating in my thoughts during a time of prayer and with this the picture of the ceremonial trumpeters (with flags) - lifting up their trumpets into the air to herald the entrance of the King!

There were many of them - lined along a balcony - high up in the rafters - all dressed in FULL ceremonial regalia

  1. Sound the battle cry! See, the foe is nigh;
    Raise the standard high for the Lord;
    Gird your armor on, stand firm every one;
    Rest your cause upon His holy Word.
    • Refrain:
      Rouse, then, soldiers, rally round the banner,
      Ready, steady, pass the word along;
      Onward, forward, shout aloud, “Hosanna!”
      Christ is Captain of the mighty throng.
  2. Strong to meet the foe, marching on we go,
    While our cause we know, must prevail;
    Shield and banner bright, gleaming in the light,
    Battling for the right we ne’er can fail.
  3. O Thou God of all, hear us when we call,
    Help us one and all by Thy grace;
    When the battle’s done, and the vict’ry’s won,
    May we wear the crown before Thy face.

Hand-picked family

Word given to FHCC by Alison (Summer 2010)

“You are a people, a family that has been hand-picked and chosen by God to be here. You are necessary to the body and to each other.  As in most families, not everyone will see eye to eye, but don’t become isolated, don’t walk away when you have problems. Where there are two or more gathered in prayer, there is strength and unity. In isolation you are an easy target, but shielded by prayer and love, you are a force to be reckoned with. Don’t give up and don’t give in, you are going to see brighter days.

Prelude to Glory

Summer 2010, for FHCC from Matt Frost (Cirencester Baptist Church)

The recent difficulties that you have had are a prelude to glory.
New faces will replace the old, and some souls will be turning to Christ.

Do not give up.

Heave Ho and Time to get out the boat!

At the prayer meeting last night at H4G two things words came through 1) Obedience and 2) it's time to get out of the boat!  (Keith & Elizabeth respectively) also during this time the Father showed me three things in the Spirit:
  1. A covered bridge over a river that led to a meadow - in the meadow was a cobbled path which was covered in blood - the path ended at a gushing fountain.
    • The way is safe and now open for us to cross and posses the land totally, the blood of Christ has prepared/paved the way - directly to the source of living water.
  2. Succulent large bunch of grapes - then panned out to see the vineyard - all tresses/vines laden with fruit.
    • At first I thought this represented the harvest BUT the Father has shown me that this is HIS vineyard that we are now part of and that the fruit, vineyard etc all relate to HIS provision, protection, care, maintenance, feeding etc - this is for us to "taste and see that the Lord is good" and that He is bountiful and we are invited to partake and be blessed.  The dry, fruitless time is over.
  3. I saw myself doing a Bruce Lee high kick - flying through the air to kick at a stone wall and then putting my shoulder to the wall.  In my spirit I heard the words "heave-ho; one last PUSH" and the wall fell.
  • email of 23 April refers (brick wall) - just one last PUSH and this wall will fall - this is the wall in the tunnel between the pool of Siloam and the well of Gihon.  This is the wall that's been holding the water back.
  • I get the sense that this PUSH is actually the breath of God.

Fullness of time: count down has started

We are stepping into the beginning of the fullness of time - this week is the start of the new season/era. The time of striving has ceased and the Father has reminded me that the battle is HIS, but we are called to watch with expectant hearts as HE starts to move - everything is ready and we His people are to be on the wall watching and waiting with eyes, ears and hearts ready to recieve ....... a very specific call to the "watchmen/women on the walls"
Last Monday the Father spoke to me about 7 days - that on the 7th day (tomorrow), there will be a significant shift in the spiritual dimension with a personal word about clarification of destiny & future.  Throughout the week there have been reminders about the importance of 7 - even a random trip to the shop resulted in a bill of £7.77   (the shop keeper remarked at this number - that it was auspicious and suggested that I buy a lottery ticket)

On Thursday evening ...... I saw the water we have been waiting for starting to flow.
However - as I've been pottering around the kitchen this evening - my spirit kept rejoicing and praising God for what HE is doing and at one point I heard the rumble of thunder ..... a deep rolling sound that almost felt like a physical vibration ....... it was so real, I looked out my kitchen window expecting to see lightning but there was nothing in the physical - this was heavenly rumblings.

 I started to petition the Father - asking HIM to send a battalion of angels to war on our behalf over this area and in my spirit I heard the Lord say ..... they are already here and that the battle belongs to HIM (AMEN)

Even as I type this - I keep hearing in my spirit - "the count-down has started". We all know that the battle will intensify - but stand strong, stand firm - our God is at hand and HE has heard our cry. Be blessed and encouraged - we serve an AWESOME God!

Spirit of Truth: shaking the foundations

After contemplating and praying about three visions in May 2007 God is saying that we will move into a season where we will see a release (I sense saturation) of the Spirit of Truth and that this season will be about ‘preparing the way of the Lord’ – preparing our hearts (churches and communities) to receive Jesus.  With this there will be truth!

New house being prepared

Woke up at 1:25 from dream: The boys and I had been called to go to the "corner" house as the old lady who had lived there had died - we got to the house (very close to our own) and we took a tour of the house - removers were in clearing the house and taking out all the personal effects/furniture etc.  It was very dusty - curtains drawn and dust covers over all the goods - felt like no-one had been in the house for years - but a bit musty - like it had not been aired for many years.

It was three stories high - with a semi circular set of red stairs leading from the street to a veranda with a large front door.  There was no boundary fence in the front - but was edged by shrubs.

I was in the entrance hall (which was large and spacious) - seemed to be open plan - leading into the lounge - there was quite a buzz/hive of activity in the clean-up operation - but with everything being removed - very spacious - large windows -  with loft rooms and all the floors were beautifully kept parquet flooring.

Nigel D arrived and he had with him a large garden/hessian bag full of cash money.  He said that he had spoken to the deceased lady's son and the authorities and they had said that I could have the property - he said that no-one really cared about the house.

He handed over the bag to me and said that this was money that had been set aside and that I could have it to revamp the house - buy whatever was needed and that perhaps I could run it as a bed & breakfast because it was large enough and secondly because it was so well positioned with access to transport in and out of London.  He said I would be free to do what I liked with the money, the property and any business I chose to develop.  I went back home quite excited - I looked at the money in the bag - trying to figure out how much it was - noticed that the money was bundled into parcels - wrapped in newspaper.  I started to count the parcels of money in the bag.

I woke up at this point - thanked the Lord for the dream and went back to sleep.

At 5:45 woke up again having dreamt again about this house.  I was back at our place and telling my mom about the house/money/idea and a friend came to visit (I don't recall who) ........ but as we were talking I told this friend that I thought she would be ideal for running the B&B for me and that as she had no current job and was looking for somewhere to live, this would be the ideal solution - I very clearly said that the loft room could be hers and that she could move in immediately.

I woke up!

A release of Love - living stones

In October 2006 a series of three pictures – all related to water.
When I asked the Father about these three pictures I was led to Ephesians 3 and the verses that sprung out and I believe is the Fathers intent are: Verses 10 to 12 " His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence."

An open field ready for battle

Article, used with permission, by Bee James (Hermanus, South Africa)

Upon asking the Lord for a word for 2010 – He showed me a field and the words “the playing fields are open, equipped, and ready for battle”.  When I awoke from the vision I could not make up my mind whether it was playing fields or killing fields. Nevertheless it was a field, an open field ready for battle – whether a game or a war the same outcome was expected – who wins?

The waiting is over

It’s so easy to rely on others to hear from God and perhaps we feel that they are cleverer than we are or that they are super spiritual in one way or another - often framed in “church” language they seem to say it just right and articulate what they hear from the Father in a clever way. I believe that God speaks to everyone who will listen.

I digress: Today - we listened and we heard (a motley crowd who gather as a community church is SE London):

It has started

2010 ..... I have been waiting excitedly for this year (decade) to start.  This is going to be an amazing year - it's hard to explain - but you see it's ALL new;  it's as if a clean canvas has been laid out, the paints and brushes are all ready. The painter has already got the picture in HIS heart - waiting for us to focus on this new canvas.  The brilliant thing is that the picture will be interactive - meaning that we get to participate and become one with the master painter to bring HIS thoughts and creation to the blank canvas.

This may all sound rather corney ..... but lets see how this shapes up over the next few months.
