The Gearbox

A picture and word given from the Father to Yvonne D for Forest Hill Community Church (18.11.2012)

While praying for FHCC I had a picture of a gearbox. (Cogs within cogs.) And I sensed a noise- the straining noise a car makes when you need to shift up a gear, but you must press the clutch and move the gear lever.

You (FHCC) are ready to move at another level, but you need to CHOOSE to engage the next gear. This is not an automatic. Let go of the fear of moving a bit faster (with less tight control).

You have gifts, spiritual gifts, available in this church, this congregation of  My people. Choose to use them. Give to, or receive from the person beside you…encouragement…..a word of Scripture...healing. Pray prophetically over your family; this city; this nation; Europe; the world. Use the spiritual gifts you’ve been given. You’ll enjoy it, and you’ll start to see more happening.

Esther 4 v 14 ....... And who knows but that you have come to this position for such a time as this?

WORSHIP = Keys from heaven

There is a call to ACTIVELY, CONSCIOUSLY, PURPOSEFULLY move in deeper & reverential (holy) worship with the expectation in our spirits that keys (wisdom, knowledge, strategy) will be given to open doors/situations that have previously been locked – there is the promise of freedom from all forms of bondage or hindrances. There is a mind-set change on the way!

SEEK the LORD and HE WILL BE FOUND!

The word is based on a range of visions & scriptures from a range of people from an evening of worship in SE London on Sunday 11/11/2012 and compiled from the following visions and scriptures:

• (YD) gathered together in outer area of Tabernacle and the Father calling us into the inner sanctuary; the holy of holies
• (ES) many gathered together, arm in arm singing Christmas carol O Come, O Come, Emmanuel with the words “REJOICE, REJOICE, EMMANUEL – God is with us”
• (JH) walking through a brightly lit corridor with automatic doors along the way. As walking, door upon door sprung open – no effort – not even a step change and then sky started to rain down golden keys
• Acts 12 (5 to 10) Peter freed from prison by angel
• 2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

FHCC: freedom to fly

I sense the Lord is saying to us as a church fellowship that we must keep focussed on the spiritual aspects of church life (prayer, fasting, worship and bible teaching) the initiatives that have been birthed (envisioned) from within or out of FHCC/H4G will begin to replicate and grow organically. Doors that have appeared closed to certain things and areas of stagnation will open and shift (start to flow personally and corporately).

We will see a distinct change in prayer activity, Malham coming of age as a worship centre and a functioning well for the community, the food bank will prosper beyond expectation and our treasure hunting will bear visible fruit. 

The input has come over the weekend of fasting, prayer and treasure hunting - from a range of people - all rather exciting when seen as a whole!

GATE OPEN – CLEAN WATER FLOWING

Monday 15/10/12 had a vision as I was drifting off to sleep.  Saw my bedroom door opening and a shaft of light shining through. It was so real that I got up as I was sure I’d turned off the lights – obviously door was closed and lights were off. With this I’ve had Psalm 118 which is all about the MERCY of God that endures but ends with, “Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, And I will praise the Lord.  This is the gate of the Lord, Through which the righteous shall enter” 

On Friday night Naomi shared about how mercy had been impressed on her and Chris shared the scripture Acts 12:10, “When they were past the first and the second guard posts, they came to the iron gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own accord; and they went out and went down one street, and immediately the angel departed from him.”

Stephane had a vision on Friday night of a pool of stagnant water – the water was covered with slime/grime but clean water was sprinkling over it and it began to stir the stagnant water – ripples moved out wider - the clean water was moving the stagnant water out.

ADJUSTMENT

Paul shared about how adjusting the approach to a problem has brought about a positive result – this linked to the disciples being instructed by Jesus to “cast the net on the other side” when their catch was empty. This is the exact scripture and word that Hugh Osgood gave us a few years ago – it was at a leadership lunch with him at H4G – and if I remember correctly it was specific to breakthrough in “evangelism” and Hugh sensed that we needed a minor adjustment to realise breakthrough.

GIVING BIRTH & REPLICATION

We shared the pregnancy/birth word a while back (and gave the dates etc) – The weekend of Graham Kendrick was roughly 9 months from the word given to at Malham.

24/10/2012: had a prayer vision where I had an aerial view of a baby in a hospital cot in a hospital nursery – baby was healthy and robust looking but I saw that it had an oxygen mask on – as I looked more closely saw that the mask was an AIRLINE mask (with that yellow bag type thing) – it was attached to the air tube coming out of the sky.  As I watched this baby and consciously asking God what this was about the baby started to replicate – a new baby on either side – each in their own cots – this kept happening until the room was filled with babies in cots.  They were all in either green or yellow baby grows. I asked the Father how many there were and if this would stop – whisper in my spirit was “it’s up to you – as many as you want”

Ocean of boundless salvation flowing for ALL

I want to encourage you - DON'T GIVE UP - keep looking for Jesus - whether on your knees, prostrate or standing - keep looking up - keep calling HIS name - whatever YOUR situation is - HE IS THERE!

My prayer is that as you read this you will somehow touch (or be touched) by the ocean of Gods love and receive a dose of the indescribable joy of knowing Christ Jesus!

Below is an old Salvation Army song that at the moment reflects what God has done AND is doing in me - feel like champagne that is just fizzing and about to burst the cork - carbonated by the Holy Spirit - wave after wave of unspeakable love, joy and peace!   

We hear over and over again about the "Tsunami wave of God bringing revival" - I am convinced that this outpouring of LOVE to individual believers and followers of Christ is the trigger for personal, corporate, local, regional and national revival.. I sense in my spirit (and from what I've experienced the last few months) - for those who want, the Father, through His Holy Spirit, is removing every obstacle so that you will have a fresh revelation of Christ Jesus and a renewal of your faith through the infilling of HIS eternal love.

Why am I convinced of God's outrageous love in this season?

Everything bad that could possibly happen has been thrown at me over the last 20 years - the enemy has tried every trick in the book to keep me getting to this place and it is only because of Christ having me by the scruff of the neck (with my consent) that HE has brought me into this remarkable place of joy. 

Christ Jesus has brought me through TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE situations from bankruptcy (loss of business & home), debt, a bigamist marriage, depression, armed robbery/assault, crippling physical pain, toxic hatred, deliverance from all sorts of filth I had walked in, shame, guilt (to name but a few) and coming to UK (returning to the land of my earthly father) on my own with two young boys and not even knowing how to change a plug!  I was more than broken - more than a shattered spirit/soul.

Christ in HIS mercy saved me from myself and began the process of transformation - showing me in concrete, tangible and practical ways how gracious, kind, generous, faithful and totally unstoppable HE is. Last year (2011) Christ revealed Himself to me in new ways (I call it my personal Emmaus Road experience) then earlier this year the scales dropped off my eyes, my heart seemed renewed and Gods expansive Agape love fell into place as a filter to every thought, word, action and prayer.  

This past weekend the floodgates of Gods’ LOVE opened and like the song below “The tide is now flowing, I’m touching the wave, I hear the loud call of the Mighty to Save; My faith’s growing bolder, I plunge ’neath the waters - they roll over me.”

HE never leaves us - never forsakes us - HE is so incredibly faithful. 

This song – written in the late 1800’s by William Booth (Founder of the Salvation Army) best articulates what I believe we will see in the coming days - BOUNDLESS SALVATION – NOW FLOWING FOR ALL!

O fullness of mercy, Christ brought from above,
